La Di Dots

Some people (my mom) accuse me of spending too much money on clothes.  I'm sure I shop more than the average person, but I've never bought anything that I didn't think was worth it. When I spot something in a store, I immediately start planning an outfit around it.  Being a savvy shopper is as important as being on trend and shopping for complete outfits, instead of picking up a few things here and there, has helped alot.  I also like to have versatility in my wardrobe.  Take this dress, for example.  It's actually a one-shoulder summer dress.  It's no secret I have a thing for polka dots so instead of having to wait a few more months to take this baby out, I put a sweater over it to keep away the chill.  I needed to add the belt to do a few things: create a waist line and something to tuck the sweater into.  Since I love this poppy orange color so much, I decided there is nothing wrong with going matchy-matchy with my shoes and lip color.

  1. I love adding versatility to an outfit by turning a dress into a top or skirt. Pretty poppy color of your sweater, too!
