I'm not really sure when this nautical craze will end--but I'm not fighting it. In fact, I'm embracing it wholeheartedly. Mainly because I have anchor shirts and necklaces and bracelets and even an anchor coffee mug. Clearly I've invested a lot into this. This top is probably the first nautical themed anything I bought. The miniature anchors got to me, those little cuties. This was quickly followed by buying white denim, boat shoes in an assortment of colors and literally anything with navy and white stripes.
Yup, there's no turning back now.

This season is all about classic sailor inspired garb (think nautical stripes, high waisted sailor shorts, and crisp white). You'll see nautical influences absolutely everywhere. An easy way to incorporate this trend is simple by working with the traditional color palette: navy, white, red. For a less-traditional route, switch out the red for pink (see here). Or you can just as easily work with the different nautical motifs like anchor prints, stripes, a straw hat and a good pair of boat shoes.
