Dress Code

Confession:  I do not own a matching suit.  Honestly, I've always protested against traditional wear-to-work garb.  There's just something about dress pants I find unflattering on me.  Instead I prefer to borrow from the professionals when I need to dress my age--like a grown up blazer or a sleek pencil skirt and leave the button-downs at home.  Blazers and dresses are my fool-proof combination.  It's all the fun of a dress but still work appropriate.  Sans blazer and its perfect for a casual date night with the boy.  Although I have been sent home for dress code violations all through high school so you probably shouldn't take my word for it...yeah, probably not.
