Back at it with a mix of plaid and...aztec?  Yes, it would seem so!  While mixing prints is a big part of my style, I frequently mix styles too.  Borrowing the plaid from the prepsters and adding in bohemian elements, like the printed scarf and fringe booties, keeps it interesting.  It's an expression of what interests me--I'm largely influenced by my own Indian roots, where colors and textures come naturally to me, but I also have a special place in my heart for all the classics, like plaid, stripes, pearls, and red lips.  While I'm not really sure how to define my personal style, I do believe that it is a mix of all these different elements and making it work in an outfit is like my own little jigsaw puzzle--when the pieces fall in to place, I know I've succeeded.

  1. Yes! Literally love it all! I'm a big fan of moccasins, mustard and navy and tribal prints and you've paired this look beautifully.
