(Peek-a-boo, I see you! Thanks, mirrored sunglasses, for a behind the scenes look at today's post)
I was scrolling through my lookbook the other day to some earlier stuff and was so amazed at how much my style has evolved. There are some outfits that I still wear today and then there were a few others that were...just too much. I like to think I've gone a much simpler route, opting for ease and comfort in conjunction to styles and trends. I've learned to edit out the unnecessary bits instead of piling on as much as I can. Honestly, overdoing or over thinking it was stressful and too time consuming.
These days you'll find me taking it easy--a philosophy I'm trying to extend in other aspects of my life, too. I'm paying attention to cuts and fabrics more than I used to and trying to keep it as simple and fuss-free as possible. I'm really digging these denim espadrilles from Easy Spirit--denim and a hint of metallic make it right on trend. The really, really good part, though, is how freaking comfortable they are! There's this gel padding that cushion and provide amazing support so I'm not sacrificing comfort for the sake of style (I wish the same could be said for those four inch heels I've been avoiding). They're the kind of shoes you can walk all day in and you won't feel it the next morning. Need I say more?
